Mayor Adams welcomed Village Attorney Matthew McDonough and asked the Board for comments regarding this proposed Local Law.

The Board spoke in favor of this local law, stating that more control is needed due to the challenging problems associated with the large bike groups that behave inappropriately.  This local law will be an effective first step. The Board emphasized that creating ‘no bike zones’ is not meant to curtail people out for a leisurely bike ride, but rather as a means for dealing with large bike groups not behaving properly.

On the motion of Trustee Seibert, seconded by Trustee Silvestri and unanimously carried, it was

RESOLVED to reserve decision.

No Comments were received regarding this proposed Local Law.

The public hearing adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
