Attorney Sikowitz explained proposed Local Law #8 of 2016.
This law addresses necessary updates to our Dock Regulations, such as clarifying the order of priority for assigning boat berths, and removing statements regarding fishing licenses, which are not issued by the Village. More importantly, however, this law addresses the issue of lines being left behind when boat berths are vacated for winter months, which interferes with ice breaking efforts. This Local Law would enable the Village to impose fines if lines are not removed from vacated berths, as well as permit the Village to remove and discard those lines left behind.
The meeting was opened to the public: No one was present to approach the Board.
On the motion of Trustee Muldowney, seconded by Trustee Basile and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED to reserve decision.
Meeting adjourned 7:10 p.m.
