PUBLIC HEARING WAS HELD IN THE BOARDROOM
153 WEST MAIN STREET, BABYLON, NEW YORK ON TUESDAY,
APRIL 12th, 2016

Meeting opened at 7:00 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee Amelia.
The Village Clerk read the Legal Notice for Local Law #5 of 2016:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at the Municipal Building, 153 West Main Street, Babylon, NY, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard to consider the adoption of Local Law #5 of the year 2016, which is a Local Law amending Chapter 215 of Village Code pertaining to permits required for Professional photos at Argyle Park.
Complete text of the above Local Law is available in the office of the Village Clerk.
All interested persons should appear at the above time and place, and they will be given an opportunity to be heard.
The Mayor explained that this local law, which is keeping in line with other Villages on Long Island, is a vehicle to help us better monitor the limited parking at Argyle Park and maintain this beautiful area.
The meeting was opened to the public; no one addressed the Board.
On the motion of Mayor Scordino, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED to reserve decision.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at the Municipal Building, 153 West Main Street, Babylon, NY, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, to consider the adoption of Local Law #6 of the year 2016, which is a Local Law amending Chapters 252, 256, 261 & 343 of Village Code pertaining to Penalties for offenses.
Complete text of the above Local Law is available in the office of the Village Clerk.
All interested persons should appear at the above time and place, and they will be given an opportunity to be heard.
Mayor Scordino explained that this Local Law was advocated by both Code Enforcement and the Building Department to increase penalities for repeat offenders.
The meeting was opened to the public; no one addressed the Board.
