MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BABYLON WAS HELD IN THE BOARDROOM 153 W. MAIN ST. BABYLON, N.Y.

On the motion of Trustee Muldowney, seconded by Trustee Davida and unanimously
carried
Mayor Scordino opened the work session at 7:20 p.m.

Mayor Scordino adjourned the work session at 8:00 p.m.
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was opened at 8:05 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Trustee Amelia
On the motion of Mayor Scordino, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: approve the minutes of the previous meeting and dispense with the reading of the same.
On the motion of Trustee Muldowney, seconded by Trustee Basile and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: approve the actions taken at the regular monthly meeting of the Fire Council held on November 20, 2012. Place Regina Anderson of the Rescue Squad on sick leave as of September 14, 2012. Took Regina Anderson of the Rescue Squad off sick leave as of November 16, 2012 with medical clearance. Took Dawn Losee of the Rescue Squad off sick leave as of October 25, 2012. Took Bruce Larsen of the Sumpwams Hose off sick leave as of April 25, 2012 with medical clearance. Took
Christopher Rugen of the Phoenix Hose off sick leave as of October 19, 2012 with medical clearance. Added Jason Harty of the Sumpwams Hose to the Driver’s List of Unit 1-2-3. Changed the status of Robert Kalpin of the Fire Patrol from Active Member to Senior Inactive member. Accepted the resignation of Firefighter Elizabeth Santos from Rescue Squad. Accepted Elizabeth Santos as a Probationary Firefighter in the Phoenix Hose Company. Accepted Brian Banninger as a Probationary Firefighter Member of the Rescue Squad. Accepted Ryan Schwartz as a Probationary Firefighter in the electric Hose Company.
On the motion of Basile, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED THAT: the Board of Trustees hereby acknowledges that pursuant to section 2019-A of the Uniform Justice Court Act, the required calendar year of 2012 audit of the Justice Court of the Incorporated Village of Babylon was performed by the Certified Public Accounting Firm of Skinnon and Faber during October 2012.
Trustee Basile reminded everyone that there are several events scheduled in the Village for the coming week. Thursday night the Conklin House will host the annual Cookie Contest, Christmas at the Conklin House is this Friday, Nov. 30th as well as the Village night of shopping.

RESOLVED TO: accept the resignation of Peter Daniele as a part time laborer effective November 2, 2012.
On the motion of Trustee Davida, seconded by Trustee Amelia and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: grant permission to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church to hold the traditional event of blessing of the Waters at Argyle Park. The event will take place on Sunday, January 6, 2013.
On the motion of Trustee Amelia, seconded by Trustee Davida and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: grant permission to the Village of Babylon Historical and Preservation Society to hold the annual tree lighting ceremony at Argyle Park on Sunday, December 2, 2012.
On the motion of Mayor Scordino, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: adopt the Mutual Aid Agreement between the Town of Babylon and Village of Babylon.
On the motion of Mayor Scordino, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried it was
RESOLVED TO: approve the application of Moses Cepeda to drive a taxi cab in the Village of Babylon for Sunset.
On the motion of Mayor Scordino, seconded by Trustee Muldowney and unanimously carried
WHEREAS A Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012
BE IT HEREBY resolved to approve the application of Richard Shire to open a Sweet Frog Yogurt Shop at 80A West Main St.
Mayor Scordino announced that there will be no second meeting in December.
